Proof that Converse Jack Purcell Sneakers are the Best Pair of Shoes in the World

Converse is known for their comfortable and oftentimes wackily-designed sneakers. I have to admit that the best pair of shoes I’ve ever owned was a Converse Jack Purcell. They’re just so darn comfy and nice to look at! I know, I have an obvious bias for white sneakers, but you’ll have to trust me on this one. Aside from its perfect shape (it’ll look good on anyone) and lightweight rubber sole (you’ll hardly notice they’re there), the uber-cool signature blue strip puts the icing on the cake.

I say that it’s the best pair of shoes I’ve ever owned because I no longer own it. While on a tour in one of Ayuthaya’s temples in Thailand, my lovely Jack Purcells were stolen. No, the thief didn’t pull them off my feet! If you’ve traveled to Thailand you’ll know that you can’t enter temples with your shoes on, so you’d have to take them off and park them outside. Well, as I got out I knew immediately that they were stolen. Silly me. They’re that nice. Out of all the nearly 30+ pairs of shoes, that sneaky little thief chose mine. Anyway, no worries, one kind monk gave me his sandals. They were kind of stinky, but it sure beats walking in socks!
